After practicing yoga consecutively for about 6 year and noticing the positive effect it was having on my soul, I decided I wanted to share yoga with everyone I knew. I decided that I wanted to know more about this ancient practice & how I can maximize its benefits in my life. I enrolled in a yoga teacher training at YogaWorks in Los Angeles, not knowing how I was going to fit it into my schedule while working full time. I know that I am the kind of person that needs to be pushed, so it was a no brainer and I would make it work. The training was life changing for me and one of the best experiences of my life. My fellow classmates and teachers were some of the most amazing loving people I had ever met and I will forever be grateful to that experience we collectively contributed to. For me, my yoga practice is mine...It is the time I carve out and dedicate to myself and I want everyone to find this space in their own lives, either through yoga, or a passion that they dedicate to themselves. My main goal as a yoga instructor is to help others become more self aware of what they need and giving them that extra push to trust them self. Namaste!
Class description: A strong 75 minute Vinyasa flow class incorporating breath work and constant movement. Each class will be a full body stretch focusing on the Asanas (poses). This class begins with a short meditation to connect with the body, then a warm up, followed by a few rounds of Namaskar A (Sun Salutation) to get the heart rate up. Then we begin our flow, which will be explained fully by the instructor. The last phase of the class will be the "cool down" portion to slow the heart rate. Finally we will finish off the class with Savasana, the final resting pose.
